need another mod?

too soon?

 

when I first went over there I didn't really know where to start either. but I posted my jeep in the introduction thread in sierra chapter and went to the local for sale thread. bought some stuff off some local members and made some connections. chatted around a bit and went wheeling with a few guys. made a build thread for support

now I'm comfortable posting threads like this. I got a call later that night from some guys I had never met. we went wheeling and I had a blast

I like naxja a lot because I actually get involved and wheel with people on the forum. here is kind of just BS around and chat.. I am bummed to see a couple of the good mods leave.

I must have missed the big blow out or whatever it was. This is one of my favorite sites and I visit at least 2 or 3 times a day. I'm still new to the Jeep world so I'm always logging on to look for new tid bits of information...........just my 2 cents.

I've tried other Jeep sites and they're either not centered around the Cherokee or not very active. I believe this is the best one.

 

Right. NAXJA is a club that happens to have a forum. Not quite the same as most forums. Not saying they're better, just different in approach.

 

All forums have ups and downs. Some change ownership and it's up to the owners which way to steer the forum. It's a bummer that some mods get feed up with the stuff and move on but it's not the first time. "CF" is still the best forum for Cherokee jeepers, I have a ZJ and still learn things on here every day. Good luck to all the peeps that go a different way and the ones that stay will still drive on,

I know a guy that used to be a staffer here, and isn't anymore...IB can have CF!!

I'll be around the web, but not here anymore! I have just been checking in on PMs and stuff....don't think I need to be doing that anymore....good bye CF, you "were" a good investment of time....

 

COS, 89, it's sad to see you go. You are two of the best we've got. I don't know all that went down with ownership, nor do I need to. I don't like all the changes either (stated earlier in the thread), and it shows in how much less time I'm on here. But with that said, I also think it's good to stay. There are still plenty of things I can learn and in some cases can also teach, both in Jeeps and life. If I can help someone become a better Jeep owner and even maybe a better person with some simple advice on here, it's worth my time IMO.

Like others said... Kind of a combo of new owner crap and some members bans being lifted. But I think you mean why they are so pissed about that and I agree it's a bit much, just gotta deal.

 

Certain members that only caused drama should have stayed banned.

If it'd because the owners run it the way they see fit...so be it. They own it, we're the guests. guests can leave anytime they want.

Banned members coming back. Again, it's the owners and or moderators decision. Don't like the guy/gal, learn to use the ignore feature.

Moderators unanimously voted for people to stay banned for causing crap with the moderators and paying member of this forum. The owners let people come back and **** off their paying customers and over ruling the moderators. That's why. It creates more work for them and they do t get paid to clean up the bull.
