I just joined today and all I can say is I wish I had done so sooner for several reasons. One being if I would have, maybe I could have had the honor of interacting with Brian. This thread is a great memorial to him and shows how many people he touched while he was here. It also is a true testament of brotherhood among members here. His family and friends are in my prayers.

Holy **** its been a year? Damn time flies. Thats weird cause I was just thinking the other day randomly about how I am bringing my xj back home, caging it, building it and making it a wheeler and how brian kept telling me I should chop it and cage it and just wheel it. I remember when he flopped his too and making fun of him cause he cracked jokes when I rolled mine. Weird how that works. RIP dude

I gotta say this, even though I never got to even communicate with Brian, I can still understand the feeling. Hell it was only last night that I realized his birthday is the same birthday as my wife's (same day and year), so yeah it kinda feels like loosing a classmate.

Over a year later, but I have been a member for a few years, and just read through Brians build thread, and am deeply saddened by his passing. I loved his humor and the way he did things and found that in many ways we thought alot alike when it came to building an XJ. As someone who battles depression daily, I know all to well how dark things can get, and Im very sad that his life ended this way. I will always hold him in the highest regard, and will continue to look to his build thread for inspiration for my own Xj. Rest In Peace Brian, we all miss you!
