It has been a fast year, it's crazy. Still remember when I first read about it and had to look over a few of my threads when I realized who it was that passed. RIP Brian. A joyous soul indeed lost young. always had insight to add to many topics

I'll always remember Brian on tomorrow's date as its the same day I was born. It's hard to forget him and his friends have done a great job remembering who he was. RIP

I wasn't here early enough to get to know him, but I never heard a bad word about him before or after he left us.

I just wanted to say that I like the idea, whoever put up the banner today in place of COTM. Very thoughtful.

Selfless over selfish! You'll always be remembered my wonderful buddy. You were cared for when you were here on earth with us and you have been cared for every day you haven't been here and you will be cared for forever. I hope I get to meet you someday. RIP silly guy miss you much!

Suicide has been a very big subject in my unit over the past few days. We just had two people kill them selves in a 12 hour period on Thursday, one just minutes after a suicide brief that was called do to the first one. If any body is thinking about it talk to somebody. Look at all the lives that were effected by Brian when news broke out. People he didn't even know are saddened by his passing (my self included) and that shows here. R.I.P. Brian.

Wow hard to believe it's been a year already! I hope anyone on here who may know his family can pass along how much he is missed and how well he is remembered.

Im not good with emotions or goodbyes so ill try to put how i feel in the easiest way.
The world is full of stories, but in the end, we are all part of one big story. Each of our chapters to add are unique. Some have happy endings, some have sad and some leave you hanging. We can be anything we want to be in our lives. Brian, your chapter was definitely a great one. It was full of laughter, friends, family, and fun. To those of us who have read of your story. You were one of the greatest chapters in our story and take comfort in knowing that your chapter did not end but merely picked up elsewhere. One day my chapter in this story will end and we shall meet again to reflect and laugh on our adventures as we watch over the next generations to add to this story we call life. Till we meet again my friend, know your chapter has helped shape ours. Brian, you will be missed and always be apart of our lives and in our memories and hearts forever.

Not a horrible idea, but I like "Selfless Over Selfish" myself.

I can't believe it's been a year. I joined the forums spring of last year and got to know him a little - not near as much as I wanted to. Very welcoming, the man did not know a stranger. He always seemed so peaceful until towards the end - seemed like something was bothering him, but he would never let on that anything was wrong.

We miss you Brian.

The most we can do is live out his motto.
