Well... I guess it's my turn.

In 2000 I bought a stock '96 Country. Added 30" tires and was very happy, but a few years later, it started....

...the transformationnnn

added what could only be called a 2.5" bastard lift. Shackles, these...

I didn't like the "Kits" so I just bought what I wanted to get it up to where I liked it so I could run 31's ...
During this I added an Auburn HP Limited Slip in the back and a TrueTrac in the front and 4.10's.

during this time I also installed a High Flow exhaust from front to back. A Cold Air Intake (BEST IMPROVEMENT to date), 62mm TB...

but as you all know it just doesn't stop there. It must be a man thing, that little voice in your head that chants "I NEED to be Bigger, BIGGER... I mean, Taller, TALLER... here it is with 32's and another inch or so of lift. Of course you'll noticed that I installed my Rock Sliders a week too late

But as we all know it's never tall enough. So now it's up to about 4.5" with 33" MTZ's. I really like those tires. This image is at our Jeep Show (the PA Jeeps All Breed Jeep Show, held every July in York, PA) I was testing out just part of our (BIG) Obstacle Course. This show is HUGE! 500+ Jeeps in just the Trophy Classes, 70+ Vendors, Obstacle Course, Lots of Demonstrations, Food etc... Check it out on PAJeeps.org and see ya there next year.

That's all for now. I'll post more of me actually trail riding in it

FYI.... I mounted my spare inside the cargo compartment. I know lots of people like rear tire carriers or up on top, but I like doing steep and off camber wheeling and I didn't like the idea of having that weight maybe influencing my COG. Plus I've had my back seat "up" only a few times 'cause I'm always carrying bee boxes, or supplies and such, so it wasn't a big deal for me.

what you can't see in this picture is that I used a female/female connector on the end of the stock "rod" (that held the original spare) and added a short length of threaded rod and used the stock T nut to hold the spare in. This tire is the 32", but I now have the 33" in there, same set-up. I bought another piece of 1/2" threaded rod, a nut/washer on the o/s of the rim, ran the rod through one of the holes in the Hi-Lift and, of course, another washer/nut to torque it down real tight. You can also see what I've attached to this set-up. Inside the rim, I usually have a pair of gloves, maybe duct tape, etc.
The cargo strap is used to keep the tire from "squeaking" as it wiggles back and forth. (it was driving me crazy...) and the red bag has my recovery gear.

Just another shot of it as it sits with 33's...
BTW, those are stock TJ rims with black lug nuts, painted center cap AND 1" wheel spacers. 12.50 tires will not fit without spacers (just in case someone trys this that didn't know). The decal, over by the tail light, says... "Growing Old is Natural, Growing up is Optional" and inside the (left rear) window is one of the "Trail Guide" door magnets I got at Camp Jeep 2007 (maybe the LAST one)

That's it for post #2...

Okay. I haven't been on in a while but I would sure love to join in on this fun.

Here are a couple from the beginning of summer. Myself and a couple of buddies up on the uncompahgre. We were headed out looking for some old abandon mines that were in the area. I was following my friends 96 ram up this area and this spot was just a little wider than my jeep could handle. Could have something to do with the 4' sink hole that my front tire is in!

My buddy had to pull me backwards a few feet to get out. But I did go right back up it and made it all the way!
