Tray Mt in the fog and rain.
Well got up early and replaced my calipers, pads and disks on the front of my 95 Grand this morning. I had the driver side stick and over heat yesterday on the way home. It got so hot it started to lock up as I went around a corner. I pulled over and it set the grass on fire under my Jeep.
Well took it for a test drive and every things good now so me and my brother went up Tray Mt just north of Helen. We went up the chimney side and down the Tray Mt Rd side.
Here are a few pics
I let my bro drive a bit.
Then found some nice rocks to flex it out on. This is the max flex on my jeep. I could lift up on the passenger rear and it would pick the tire off the ground and tilt.
I then tried to drive up on another rock to flex the drivers side and ran into some problems. I slid off the rock and my core support landed right on top of it. My front tire were barley touching and all 4 were just spinning. We tried stuffing things under the front tires but it would just spin. Luckally some hikers came over and got on my rear bumper and the added weight was enough to pull it off the rock.
In the process I bent both the steering bars against my diff. I used a tow strap and a tree to bend them back and all was good. We were on Tray for 3.5 hours and took every trail. Great road.

I really like Tray Mt. It was pouring rain all night Friday and most of the day Saturday so I thought it would be fun to hit the trails again.
Nothing like clean rims and axles.
Then went up and found these nice hills.

Then had some issues with my T-case in this nice mud hole.

Then while checking out the front diff I noticed my tie rod was bent again and my driver side lower control arm mount was broke. I have no idea how that happened. The tie rod was bend on a rock from my last ride and I bent it straight but I guess its now weakened so I'm going got buy a HD one soon.
