Default Saturday Mudding II

Went out to the Cliffs again today. Met up with a local off-roading group and had a great time! It was thundering and raining in the morning when we got there. It stopped in the afternoon, then got really nice and sunny later on. As soon as it stopped raining we decided to go out on trail #1, the easiest of them all, but since it was insanely muddy, we figured it'd be a good challenge. It was intense and fun! We were sliding sideways and had to go down then up steep, steep inclines with ruts and whatnot. I slid sideways on a narrow path, got stuck between two trees, was about to get pulled out then ended up getting out! Almost also slid sideways into a ditch, heh. Didn't need to get pulled out this time, and almost had to several times! Also nothing broke! Although there is an issue with my alternator, it's dying and I'll be replacing it tomorrow. But seeing as how last time I was out I got stuck, broke a u-joint, and had to get pulled out, I'd say it was a pretty good day!

Now if only it'd rain again so I can wash it!

Pics!

One of many trail shots. We had to keep doing short stops to keep everyone together and check the path:

One of our guys having a fun time! I have a video of him getting out of this. He kept going off the path on some pretty tough paths:

Our last stop before getting back to the lot. One of the guys was overheating:

How are the cliffs for less modified vehicles?

I've got a cherokee riding on a 2in lift with 30's

My buddy has a Power Ram 250 on 33's

My other buddy has a stock 92 silverado.

Everyone i talk to says the Cliffs is more of a Jeep/ATV course. We like trail riding with some light mud, not the extremely technical stuff because all of our trucks are our DD's as well

There's a bunch of different trails all ranging in difficulty. Are your 30s mud tires? Should be fine with a stock/small lift and mud tires. And I've seen H2s, Broncos, and the like go through trails, so your buddies should fit.

If you're going out soon, let me know. Also, have you heard of DDO?

They're rather aggressive all terrains. I have heard of ddo. My jeep is currently in SO IL, so we won't go till this summer.
