Really! That's awesome! I bought my XJ from a Marine in Kailua. I live on the north Shore in Waialua. You nailed the spot exactly. Ka' Ena State park. I didn't have anyone to ride with me or take pics so that trip was mostly a photo op. But she's much muddier now! And as for the lifted trucks, it is crazy how many you see on the island and never a speck of mud on them, Lol. I'm hoping to be heading to a few mew spots in weeks to come, I'll be sure to get some more photos.

If your getting wobbles at 55-60.. probably just unbalanced tires.

Has nothing to do with your sway bar.

Balance your tires and try again.

I also run without my sway bar connected. No issues for me, but it can still cause issues if you don't know the truck and what it'll do.

I've had my truck well past safe speeds without any wobble. Yours is probably bad tire balance or worn suspension components.

Just to be safe check your ball joints and tie rods ends.

Beautiful scenery, though. I'm jealous.

I knew I was going to regret looking at this threat. I'll just go back to work in the snowy 15 degrees now.

Well, I took y'alls advice and removed the front sway bar. With it I had DW at about 55-60, without it I just had a little wiggle or instability at about 65. Most if not all of that wiggle is due to the bad roads here. I found the one section of highway that has been paved within the last ten years and it cleared up, smooth as can be up to about 73. Thanks guys!! And now I've got a lot more flex too!

So telling you that was just working on installing a new radio in my XJ wearing shorts and a tank top would be wrong then? Sorry, I couldn't resist LOL
