Jeep Fest Twisted Trails Copemish MI 2008
So this past Saturday found us and some of the others of SWMJeepers out at the Twisted Trails Offroad Park in Copemish, MI. It was a good run and a great chance to really test out the lift and tires.
With us from SWMJeepers,
Arctic: Built Black XJ with yellow roof lights.
TopThrilJoe:Black TJ with roof roof lights.
FourSix: Green TJ with small rectangle roof lights.
HavenSOV(Me): Burgundy XJ with black tubes on roof.
Once you enter the park you come out next to the large scramble area. Large hills, pits, mud, etc.
After the rest of our crew got there, and the rain subsided enough to un-laod the rest of the of the Jeeps. We headed out and hit one of the trails, yellow or orange I think.
After this trail we knew why they called it Twisted Trails. There were plenty of sharp turns around trees, twists, and cut backs. Lots of fun, but now I have no paint left on the sides of my sliders!
After a rest, we hit another trail and met up with another group from GreatLakes 4X4 (The wolf Pack) on it and followed them.
Fun in the mud...
These pictures do not do there "Blue Trail" justice... The hardest one there, and I really shouldn't have tried it with open difs... I slid down this hill with the brakes in full lock and went straight into the mud at the bottom...
Couldn't go any further and had to be winched back up the hill... Heres how my 2 year old made the trip down and up.

About this time our camera died. These last ones are with my phone. Arctic found more mud and just couldn't resist and went out into it... This is what he found...
Overall a great day. This was the first major runs for myself and for Arctics XJ. Really got to flex every thing out. Heres my trail damage...
Sliders, either side.
As some point the sway bar made a new drain hole in the wheel well.
Some minor paint strips between the rear door and rear window.
And this is what we sight as we left...
