There is a trail here in southern Colorado that has an obstacle, or series of osbtacles called "little Moab". It's in Teller county I believe. We went wheelin yst to Hackett Gulch, recently opened last month. We were going to head over to the lil Moab obstacle about 5 miles away, but ran out of time due to a late start due to lazy friends.
yes! Just go south on Redwood road on the west side of Utah lake. You can also get there by taking the Lehi exit off I15 and heading toward Saratoga Springs/Eagle Mountain. At the 4 way stop (Redwood Rd), turn south. You will go about 15 miles or so, maybe more, maybe less --- past pelican point etc.
At Mile Marker 7 (you will see the marker on the East side of the road) there is a dirt road that heads due west. There is a little house and a row of trees. Trust me, you can't miss it among all the sage brush....
Just follow that road about a mile or so and you will see Little Moab on your right. It's white rock, not red, and it's about the size of 3 football fields. There are some nice little camping spots and all sorts of 4wd trails. I think it's kind of close to Nutty Putty cave, but we've never found it.
It's much easier than it sounds to find. Let me know when you go out. Here is a link to youtube (not mine) so that you can see the lay of the land.
