Here's a couple pics form the weekend. Ice was approx 5 feet thick in most parts and thicker. We brought along a cordless drill and an 18" drill bit and tested the ice in several spots, too short of a bit. The guys ice fishing noted ice on average is 5 ft. We went out 3.8kms and just drove around for 30 mins. Took some great pics. We had to cross an ice ridge, it was 4-5 feet high, but the there are people who make a bridge of snow over this, using 4 wheel low and just crawl over it. there are some deep snow drifts that you basicly plow thru, roughly bumper height. It was great! Hope you like them.
