WTB:chrome tailgate trim
anyone know where i can find this trim that goes above the license plate?i've checked all over and no luck.i've seen it on a few.thanks for any help.

got the chrome grille,chrome headlight buckets,chrome door handles,and chrome tailgate handle now i just need that last piece.
i did some more checking and i guess it came on the limited model.

The one I saw was on a 2000+ Classic. I got the 16" wheels from the same one. Then I found some decent looking tires to go on it too. Wheels and tires for 175.00.I looked the tires up and there 200+ a piece HeHe! I love these dang wheels. I would rather have those than aftermarkets.
But yeah I guess they may come on the limited too. But this one was a classic that I saw the chrome Grille and Tail Gate piece.
Heres the wheels and tires I scored,.
Then I found some decent looking tires to go on it too. Wheels and tires for 175.00.I looked the tires up and there 200+ a piece HeHe! I love these dang wheels. The tires are 245/75/16" GoodYear Wrangler Mt/R's. There nowhere near new but they will get me well through the winter and into next summer I am guessing.
Sheesh them would be high. I think I would just buy 4 new Swampers if they came in this size.

Anyhow if I make it back to that local JY do you want the tail piece? Whatcha looking to spend on one? I will half to see what the guy would want for it. That's all you need to be done. I thought about getting it and start chroming but heck with it, I like the blacked out look I have going.

i had swampers on my ram once and loved them.a little noisy on the highway but i traded off the noise for the off road performance.i'd spend up to 50 bucks give or take 10 or 15 bucks and whatever you'd like for your time,gas,etc.thank you.

Next time I catch the yard open I will stop in and ask him what he would half to have for it. Then I will half to pull it off. Most things ya get at this yard you gotta pull yourself. I will see what I can do for ya. That jeep only has good parts on it from the rear doors back basically and I know that piece is good cuz I was thinking about snagging it. Like I said I will stop in there this week and see what I can do.

I gotcha, I will try and make it by there tomorrow after I get off work. I need to see if he has a Cat for my exhaust and a couple other things. I will keep you updated either way,.

Sorry bud but the chrome piece was a no go. Heres why and what happened. I am so pissed about it.
Went to the junk yard but the guy accused me of stealing parts! WTF! Last time I was there I pulled an o2 sensor, I thought the plug looked funny so I took it to my XJ and crawled under. Sure enough it was the wrong plug, The sensor was a Universal that you wire in. So I took it in to the guy and layed it down and said well the sensor wont work so heres a part thats already pulled for ya. I ended up buying a new one for about 85.00. I go back today and he says that is the wrong sensor that I stole the one that was supposed to be in it. I was so pizzed about this. I was like why would I steal one? I just spent 85 damn dollars for a new one. I hope this all comes back to him. Old Buzzard
