wanted to buy SEAT BELT BUCKLE
i have an 89 Cherokee 2 door and the drivers side seat belt buckle stopped working
i am not sure what year would work, its made out of metal, and i know the newer XJs had plastic buckles

I had the same problem on my 90 when I bought it. I bought one off eBay, same color even.
You should be fine as long as it is from a Renix era XJ (87 - 90).
