There was just two small metal brackets that supported the air damn thing i just hacked them off. I did no major cutting on it though. Thanks alot it is clean for a jeep old man i got it from bought it new in 96 had never been off the road....till now. And as far as the cheap paint goes if i was going to cover the red i would do the green color thats on the flat flares bushwacker jeep i got a raise outta it but its not a stock XJ color. Plus those cheap paint jobs are exactly that cheap.
