Default Rear with 3.55's

So I recently swapped out my rear because it needed more work then a junk yard rear. I took the tag off and it read "3.73" so I bought a rear with 3.73's. Well seems the tag was wrong. My jeep comes with 3.55's. Even the front Is 3.55's. So now I need to replace the rear again. Any help for someone struggling with money issues would be fantastic.

I'm not sure on the axle. Just posted another thread about trying to figure that out. How do I find out the spice or splice? That's what the junk yards keep asking and I have no idea.

What year is your jeep?

4wd? Auto? Do you have ABS? I assume the JY is asking you about the spline count. If you tell me the year if you have ABS I can probably tell you what axle you have. And we can go from there.

is it a dana 35 or chrysler 9.25 ? I would give you a dana 35 for fifty bucks if you wanted to drive to Pa.

I was told the 01 rear wouldn't work. The 8.25, would it mount up in the same spots? Sorry I'm not super savy on jeeps. I run most suggestions by my mechanic brother in law haha.
