Yes I'm looking for a chevy 283. V8 hoping ones local in Tenn. PLEASE call @ 615-448-7223 Dennis
No 305, 350's ONLY a 283

Because I've had a 350, 305, 327, and a 307 and the 283 will handle nore RPM's than the rest of them and I have been know to hold my foot to the floor longer than I should the torq from a 283 is better in my opinion.
