So, this is my first post on the forums !
I've been looking around for a wrangler for a year now, and just can't seem to find one that fits my budget !!
So i stumbled upon this website and fell in love with the XJ!

Anyhow, do you guys know anyone that is wanting to sell their XJ ? Clean, no mods or simply just lifted by 3inches ?

I'm in Quebec, can drive to the states to pick it up with my dad.

Je suis à la recherche d'un Jeep Cherokee. Construit entre 1990 et 2001. Qui n'a pas au dessus de 220 000 kilomètres. Qui est en bon état coté carroserie (donc pas de rouille sous le véhicule).

De plus, si vous êtes le propriétaire original, si possible, un receuil des services effectués sur le véhicule.

Le XJ peut être équipé d'un lift, par contre je demande pas plus que 3 pouces.

I am currently looking for a 1990 to 2001 Jeep Cherokee (XJ). I would like the Jeep to have under 220 000 kilometers (about 100 000 miles) , and be rust free on the frame. Cosmetic rust is fine, only if it is not major rust.

If you are the original owner, and you have all the service history, that included would be amazing !

The XJ can be equiped with a lift, but dont bother contacting me if your lift is higher than 3 inches!

Do some research. Look at what others have done and plan to do.

Get around 25 posts then you can view the classifieds section. Or check craigslist.

Common issues are leaks and heat issues.

Most can get a 3" lift for under 600$ US. Look into BDS.

Allright, craigslist is over priced... Dealers seem to think that selling 150 000 mile jeeps at 7000 is good...

I need to find a private seller to start off with, i don't mind the rust, thank god for bondo and my hands !


As for the leaking, seals and gaskets do the trick, no ? and for over heating... radiator and prestonne changing ?

lol frame really ???? just fyi cherokee XJ are unibodys as in there is no frame the body was built to support it self without the use of a frame

I no where your coming fom about buying one im still looking my self for one!be paitent one will come around.Ive been looking for 3 months and looked at several.Seems like anuthing ig good shape is 3500~5000 but im probably going to buy one tomorrow for 2250.its a 2000 model with 160000 miles and is pretty clean.In Arkansas thats a steal.
