Last year there were dozens of 4wd Cherokee's around me and now just dang Grand Cherokee's mostly.
Found a High pinion 30 but the driver side axle shaft was taken out and since I don't know when the next time I'll find one again, I bought it.


So, I'm in need of a drivers side axle, joint and stub shaft for a Dana 30.
I'm real close to Memphis tn.

Pardon my lack of knowledge on these/this jeep stuff but, are the splines all the same on these Dana 30's?
Is yours a HIGH pinion 30?
Does it matter what year Dana 30? (meaning, did they have any kind of 'break' to a parts change or revision to where your part won't work in my axle?)

Splines are all the same.
Mine is from a high pinion, but that would not matter.
Yr. doesn't matter, though the older ones, 87-90ish had smaller U-joints.
Mine is from a 98.
