I got one from this site for my '98.

This is what they list for a '96.

If you get one, take it to a locksmith and they will program it for 1/3rd the price at the dealer.

Good luck!

I've got two, but they're out of my 2000 XJ. Don't know if that year will work for you. They are the OEM FOB's.

I've got one!

I purchased one for my '91 Laredo and never got around to programming it. I ended up selling the Jeep and keeping the key fob. I CANNOT guarantee it works, as I never got it programmed. But for what it's worth, the person I bought it from said it worked fine. I bought it off eBay for about $50. PM me if you're interested and we can work something out.

I have several,I work for a used car dealer, gets all his vehicles up north. We do the body work, mechanicals on them if they need before they go to auction. He sell's alot of jeeps here in Tenn in winter. I've been saving anything jeep parts. Most auto manuals will walk you threw to program them to your vehicle. Plus several sites online. Give a hollar if your still needing one.

That one won't work for the 96. Also if someone sold you that on eBay they misled you. Those are ordered by the dealer based on the code on your receiver, so there would have been no way to your 91 unless by some crazy chance you hade the same 5 digit code on your receiver.
