Anyone have a 2000 overhead console and all the wiring in good condition? Need one from a 2000 because the wiring is different year by year.

I also would like one were the white reset and toggle symbols are not worn off.

Going to assume your Jeep did not come with one. '01 is plug and play too. About to install one in my '00 from a '99. Haven't actually done the job yet but it appears to not be that big a deal. The two main differences that my research seems to indicate and what I can see from the parts I have is that visor wiring is different and the bigger plug that goes in the fuse box is different. Repining the fuse box one is not that big a deal. See the picture. '99 on the left and '00 on the right. The visor wiring is different in the respect that an '00 has a two wire set up, external ground, and a '99 has a one wire set up, internal ground. See the second picture '99 on the left and '00 on the right. Guessing your Jeep is also the Agate, gray, so don't rule out a '99 if you find a good one. Grab the visors too. Also don't forget the bracket and the temp sensor up front underneath.

 

I ended up finding one here locally but was not able to get the rear back mounting plate that the overhead console is supported by.

If anyone has just this plate i'm interested in buying it.
