Sure, but then if you break it without the warranty, no locker-$200 = -$200 ... just saying. That's the probelm reselling parts for a D35, not much demand for them.

Why does it matter? If you're not interested in buying it then don't post in the thread

When you become a mod, then talk to me. Not your thread so mind your business.

My apologies to the OP. I deleted the comment as it was meant for PM but somehow was transferred to the thread post. GLWS

Yea I would appreciate if the neg comments are kept to yourselves. If you don't want this, then move on, why are you reading my for sale to begin with if you don't want a locker for D35 axle? Don't answer, just move on.

D35 is stout, many of us live in the half of the country where there is no rock crawling Moab style stuff to play on. A locked D35 did me just fine. If I didn't have a chance to grab up a 8.25 cheap I would still be rocking the D35 and locker and loving every minute of it!!

Edit...I wish there was a jeep cherokee forum for adults, like over 25 or something, that way we wouldn't have to deal with this kiddie shiz.

Exactly!!! Isn't it in the rules that if you aren't interested in buying the item then you aren't allowed to post in the thread? And why does everyone bash on people that run d35's? I've had no trouble with mine and its not like I had a choice. I got a great deal on my jeep and that's what it came with.

Anyways back on topic, I've got a buddy with an open carrier 35 that he might sell me. I would really like to buy the locker and install it in that axle if I can get it. My problem is that your first post says its for a 1993 or older axle. This one is from a 97. What is the difference?

The side gears on the 97+ are different I believe.

This will not fit the 94+ cherokee's.

Here are the specs:

Hmmmm well I'm going to the jy on Friday. Maybe they will switch me my 35 for an older 35. $200 for a Spartan is a damn good deal if you ask me. I'll keep you posted.

Yes side gear... 1.5 or 1.6... Forget the years of each though...
