Hello,

I have a working (To my knowledge) key fob for a 97+ Cherokee. It may need a new battery but I think it still works.

Located in New Orleans, 70001

If it helps anyone the part number on the back is 56008968

That's the remote for a 97-98. The 99-01 uses the newer kidney bean shaped remote. Also, those can not be programmed by you at home. They require a DRB III so it has to be done at the dealership.

I was told it would work for any 97 up. Thanks for the info.

The dealer will most likely charge you for it. I have also heard that locksmiths do it for much cheaper.

This is still available!

The plastic is in pretty good shape. A few scratches and dings here and there but its not beat up. Shoot me a PM.




Also, I cannot change the way that this key fob is programmed. The buyer will have to research on their own to find out how to do it. I am selling the fob because it won't work for my year (95).
