Do you have any pics of how it looks on? Did it work fine? Were the bolts long enough? And I'm glad you liked the looks!

Sorry I took so long, let's just say my life has been interesting lately. I just installed the cover. Looks great, installed in no time, and didn't break the gasket seal taking out the five bolts. Unfortunately, I had to reinstall one of them. The cover just doesn't have enough bend to it to get all five bolt holes aligned. I had to put the factory bolt back in on the right side, but after that, all four others went in tight. Maybe thicker washers can pull it away from the cover enough to line up, but overall I am impressed.

Yeah, it looks good under there. It is the bolt on the right side (drivers). It is just too close to the cover to get threaded right. I'll take some pics in the morning.

Ok sounds like the washers might salve the problem thanks again for the info.

Just to let evey body else know I have 3 more dana 30 diff covers on the way so I will be making them again soon. This time Im taking what Ive learned from the last one and making them even better. The new but higher priced ones will be $40 shipped with thicker washers and bolts. Thats with delivery confirmation and insurance. Pm me So I can get with you on how long it will take. If you order one ill let you know how its coming along with daily pictures and updates. It can be painted another color if you wish. Just let me know thanks!

Brandon

Also a few shop rags (two or so) come with the cover for all CF members!

Just a tip, longer bolts will probably be needed if you bump up washer thickness. It might be cutting it close with the ones I have.
