I have a set of 97-01 front tow hooks and mounting plates that hook right to the frame rail. They come with all hardware. My wife previously had a 99 xj that I bought them for, but I didn't get them on before I got rid of the jeep.
They are brand new and have never been installed. I believe the hooks are 10000 pound hooks and the mounting plate is 1/4 inch steel.

Ok I'm a bit of a doofus. I think I can get them to fit on my 96 xj. I didn't realize that they would fit. I originally bought them for my wife's 99 xj. Sorry for any inconvenience. I will try and put them on my rig and repost if they don't work.
