I have for sale a set of HP (reverse cut) Dana 30 4.56 gears and mini install kit, as well as 4.56 gears for an 8.8 with mini install kit.

I was going to put these into my Jeep, but my buddy the mechanic who said he could install gears for me had had the axle for almost a year and the cover still hasn't been removed on it! I have since turned the Jeep into a trail only rig so the 4.10 gears are fine, I actually don't really mind driving it on the road either.

I will separate, but would prefer to sell both together.

They are both USA Gear I believe (I will have to double check that, as I currently only have the D30 gears in my garage).

I paid a bit over $400 for all of this, will sell for $300 shipped or $175 a set.

Feel free to make offers, I will consider trades on things I can use- I need:

35" MT tires/rims for Jeep (5x4.5)
D30 lunchbox locker
8.8 locker
bikini top for YJ (family style)

My bad thought you were selling a 8.8 locker. I didn't read it right.

 

These are just gear sets (with mini-install kits) brand new in box by Motive Gear (made in USA!).

New these gear sets are $169 + shipping and the install kits are another $30. I am accepting offers, especially if you buy the XJ 8.8 I have for sale too. :-)

The gears are for an 8.8 (spline cound does not matter) and are indeed for a high pinion Dana 30.I am not sure it would be worth it to gear my 4.10 YJ axles to 4.56.

Would trade my 4.56 gears for 4.88 gears for same axles. :-)

Front D30 gears and install kit sold!

Still have the 8.8 ready for an XJ, along with the 4.56 gears for a D30. I also know someone selling a set of D30 4.56 gears for a low pinion D30 too...

Still have the 8.8 4.56 gears and install kit ($150). These are new in the box.

Still have Ford 8.8 out of a 1999 Mountaineer (31 spline) with Blue Torch Fab perches welded tubes, disk brakes ready to bolt into an XJ with 4.5" of lift. Has rebuilt LSD with extra clutch packs and 3.73 gears. ($175)

Will sell complete set for $300
