Well, I was going to keep it, but I'm upgrading to a K40. So yes, it comes with a K30 magnet mount. With this set up, I can reach out about 7 to 10 miles, which if you're wheeling is plenty, it's also GREAT on interstate travel as well (saved me from getting a ticket or two).

Don't underestimate the HUGE splash area the roof of a XJ has. You also have to take into account that I live in mountainous terrain, I can drive up to High **** (Elev. 4,223) and reach out farther than that. Of course if anyone has any doubts, that's just fine with me, I don't have to sell, I'm just trying to pass along an awesome radio to fellow Jeepers....
