And I hope you do know that you have to do the rear axle as well. Regearing is expensive stuff. I would argue that you'll spend more on regearing than you'd spend on gas if you don't regear. That is if you're regearing just to improve on mileage. At the very least it will take a while for you to realize any real savings. I'm sure many people will disagree & that's fine. My opinion.

Not that I'm trying to suggest you shouldn't regear. I recently had mine done on the XJ. But I don't care a lot about mileage ... I wanted a better crawl ratio & to kill the slug. Either way, have qualified people do the work, & good luck.
