black 96 xj part out
awesome, its impossible to find people around here on this forum, i can think of 2 other people off the top of my head anywhere remotely close, im in kenosha, bout a half hour away from the WI/IL border. How bad are the tires? Im lifting my jeep pretty soon and need some steelies n bigger tires, I was gonna get some Cragars but if i get get those same rims you got for cheaper then id rather do that? what you asking for the rims and tires?? I could probably pick them up or meet you half way or something if im into them, pics at all?
i just checked ups website and i estimated the total weight to be around 60lbs ... it says shipping would cost 25.88 shipped ups ground .. so let me know this lift has been on the jeep for no more than 6months and it is in good shape.. i would include the rear leafs and the coil springs ... i have the shocks as well that i would include.. they come with blue boots

the tires are not too bad .. i mean they are pretty much bald but i have taken them mudding about half a dozen times since i bought them and had absolutly no problems ... sorry no pics i dont have a camera ... they are goodyear wrangler at/s and they are 31x10.5x15 ... i could meet you half way that would not be a problem... maybe like in gurnee or something ... i would take 100.00 for the four rims and 31'' tires

i do believe that the stock rim width is about 8"... i have my 31's on there now and its fine and also i have a buddy with the same rims with 33x12.5x15's on his and they also do fine .. so as long as you are not going wider than 12.5 which i seriously doubt then you should be good ... i would take 150.00 for the set of 5 (which includes an awesome full size spare that has never been used) or probably 120.00 for the set of 4
and stock rims are 15x7 (at least on the 1997).

yea you would need a little bit wider and different back spacing. besides i might get them wheels haha. for something 12.5 wide you need like at least 8s, maybe 10s, right? something like that.

yea, I'm a newb, but I ordered a lift kit and wanted clarification on tire size. So I called Rubicon Express.
A 33'' tire will not work on stock rims due to excessive rubbing. You need extensive backspacing. They recommended new rims with min 3.5-4'' of backspacing. They recommended 15x8 size rims so that the wall of the tire can easily flex over the lip of the rim so they won't smack rocks as easily as a wider rim than 8''.
just tryin' to save someone the headache that I almost got myself into if I hadn't called a reliable source

for the rear You can tell by the housing if it is flat at the top and bottom then it is a 8.25 and the D35 is rounded all the way around. And if it were the D35, the fill plug would have the dana logo on it. if it is a 8.25 i will take it. i sent you a pm
yeah ... sorry my pumpkins are both rounded all the way around an no logo that i can see on the plug
yeah i believe he had some spacers... i was under the impression that you could mount the tires on stock rims... oh well kind of ruins my plans for some tires i was planning on buying ... either way the 31's do not have any dry rotting but the tread is pretty worn ... should last you through the winter though
just to clarify you guys are talking about two different sets of wheels... i have a total of 9 all the same style all with rubber on them... 4 with 31's 4 with regular sizes an one full size spare ... the spare is bran new never been used 235 75 15 (wrangler at/s) the 31's are pretty much bald an the other 4 are kind of mis matched ... 2 relativley new and two that have about 10,000 miles on them
