Up for sale is a blue header panel off of a '97-'01 Xj. This unit is complete with all lights (less headlights), grill, and bezels. The grill and passenger side bezel are cracked but they do not effect their function and don't slap you in the face when you look at it. I have been keeping this unit as a spare but due to certain circumstances I am now selling it.

I will not ship this part. I have shipped one in the past and it was a pain and expensive. Local pickup only in Allentown, Pa 18103

Price: $200. For $250 I will swap out the cracked parts for good parts of a different color.

I have one of those on my rig ATM. Biggest piece of junk I've ever bought. It doesn't contour to the body lines and the studs on the top are threaded wrong so they back out as you try to tighten the header panel down. The headlight bezels weren't even close to mounting up when I received it. I will never buy another knock off header panel in my life.

I see OEM bare panels selling for more than this locally pretty often. In the last five years I've seen two intact '97+ header panels in the junkyard and bought both. They're tough to find around here.

 

I totally agree, bought the cheap aftermarket one for my beater and it it doesn't line up and broke mounts already. Just bought a used OEM one and it was worth every penny. Bump for ya

 

Thanks. I normally don't trash talk on a product, but I'm very upset with my purchase of the cheap header panel. I wouldn't even recommend the cheap ones for a beater for the simple fact that the mounting studs pull out. It's useless if you can't mount it up.
