I have a 96 cheokee 4x4 with 57k miles on it. All original miles.
Clean title- when i bought the car the california title said salvaged but my title says its a clean title...i asked the dmv and my insurance company and they said it is a clean title but idk if has been in any kind of accident the driver side door's paint is a lil scuffed up kinda but you can only tell up close...
4.0 Automatic
Ac and heat
Flowmaster exhaust
Fully tinted dark
New thermostat
New radiator-not installed yet
After market transmission cooler
An old man in california owned it before me i bought it from his grandson.
Interior is about a 8 out of 10 it has stains on the carpet here and there.
The exterior is about a 8 out of ten as well it has small dings around but nothing crazyatall.
Honestly mechanically it runs amazing
the bads:
A couple months ago i clipped a corsica and ****ed up the bumper, pass fender, and corner light.....i just ordered everything for it yesturday so the only bad is the fender is gonna be primered...
The tires are worn but in no way shape or form unsafe to drive on i drive it daily on and off road.
And it will come with a tape player my cdplayer was a gift from my wife and she would kill me if i didnt keep it
I am looking for $3300 obo picked up...kbb in good condition is $4685.00.....
The pics are before the fender bender....

After the fender bender...

I took the fender off

A possibility for the salvage title was that some states assign a salvaged title to vehicle that are inoperable at time of registration, or if it hasn't been registered in consecutive years. If a salvaged car is then registered in a new state and the title was salvaged for a reason the new state does not recognize, such as the examples I listed, its up to the state of new registration to keep the salvage title or offer a clean title. I got screwed going the other way. I bought a motorcycle that was given a salvage title because it didnt run when it was auctioned by a storage facility and thinking my state didn't recognize reason for the salvage, it would be given a clean title, but my state keeps salvage titles for any reason even though they don't salvage cars for the same reason. Oddly, if it had been re-registered in the original state, it would have been given a clean title because it now runs. I even have a letter from the Missouri Attorney General stating this as well, but it doesn't matter. Strange title laws indeed.
