OK guys we got info on the HOA and rules are rediculas, I hate these things, and one of the rules is no unliscensed Vehicles. SO basicly this XJ has to go. I am leaving this open to 3 options.
1. Buy it right out as is where is with a clear title $2500
2. I will take a decent utility ATV 4wd even trade.
3. I will give both the above a couple days and I give up and will go part out route.

If it goes to the part out route I have till the 15th of May to get rid of everything, and I am not going to pull the parts, if you want something you come pull it. take it home, and I take money, NO CHECKS for anything, I am already screwed out of $125 from a jeeper I thought I trusted but thats another story.

ANyway here is a pretty good build list, if interested in any of the parts PM me or email FSJRZDVL@YAHOO.COM and I will give you my price. I am not interested in shipping anything larger than a flat rate large box.

Its a 1992 Jeep Cherokee XJ.
The rear axle is a Dana 44 out of an 89 XJ, it is geared to 4.56 and has Alloy USA axle shafts.
The front is a factory Dana 30 also geared to 4.56 and locked with a lockright locker. The tie rod is rusty's HD, Both front and rear axles are protected by SOLID industries diff covers.
Under the hood is the factory original 4.0 which doen't even have 80,000 miles yet. On the hood is a pair of Custom aluminum hood vents and a pair of "Custom" steel hood vents (floor vents)
front bumper is a Rusty's Baja Tube bumper with a SMittyBilt XRC-8000 mounted to it rear bumper is an older daystar tube bumper with modified factory mounts to add strenth and a few different hooks and rings to go into the receiver for recovery
To protect the rig from rocks that bite I have a pair of AJ's offroad rock sliders.
This whole mess sits on a rusty's 6.5" Long Arm Suspension, and what would be 35's but oneof those are blown.

IF YOU BUY WHOLE
For recovery equipment it has a XRC 8000 winch, warn winch kit bag with pulley, chain, drings, gloves, a tree strap or two, a couple recovery straps, whatever bags, and boxes I have with equipment in them. Now this would all be dependent on price.

Now know bads or issues with the jeep
the Dana 44 bearings are shot and the ring gear is missing 3-4 teeth, operates fine but I would keep an eye on it
The drag link is bent, I can supply a good factory one with the jeep if you want
the tires are retreads so finding a replacment is probably not possible and one is cut so it needs tires
This was a trail rig so the body is pretty beat up

 

why not just put plates on it??

 

Could but still have to deal with place to leave it, I have a lack of storage, and I still need to do the repairs. Basicly I am just losing interest

right now the only thing spoken for is front axle
I have interest in the complete suspension but no commitment

 

This is exactly what I'm looking for and in my price range. Would it survive the 150 mile drive back to my house?

I sent you an email back. It would take a little bit to go 150 miles, if you read all of above it requires steering, the drag link is trashed, and tires, well at least one 35" tire. After a jump start I would say it would do ok may be a slower trip as this was a trail rig for me so it has no sway bars and may be a little squirlly.

OK had something lined up for this but it fell thru. COme on I really wanna sell whole before I go into parting. $2500 for a slew of spare parts and a jeep that needs minimul work to go. Heck I can even supply a factory drag link with it if desired. and for the full $2500 it will include the winch on the jeep some of my recovery gear, Couple of ammo cans for spare parts or tools, 2 sets of seats, a 1/2 sheet of diamond plate aluminum for whatever you want to use it for, bumpers, rock sliders, an Optima red top, the battery in the jeep, well you have seen the list!!!

 

I just listed this on Craigslist Clarksville so I expect a ton of junk to come in and maybe just maybe a sale

OK all I really want this jeep sold!
$2200 buyer takes all to include winch and some select recovery gear. Basicly what I don't keep for my truck and durango is the buyers. I know I am taking a huge hit on this but I also know its difficult to sell a damaged vehicle
