What do you mean by "cleaned"? Like in an ultrasonic, or sat in carb cleaner for an hour?

 

They soak in Carb cleaner for 24 hrs, then I pull the micron filters and spray out the inside with carb cleaner as well as compressed air. The outsides are scrubbed to remove any dirt and a fine brush is used on both ends to clean up any grime that's built up on the metal. The electrical connections are cleaned as well.

Been doing it this way for over a year and have never had an issue.
