1999 XJ Low miles, 4" lift, 33's
1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport 4door
4WD with low range
Less than 123,000 miles
4.0L Straight 6cyl High Output Engine
Automatic Transmission
Beautiful Blue (Deep Amethyst Pearl)
Charcoal Interior
Trailmaster 4" Lift
33x12.5x15 Aggressive All Terrains (not mudders)
Sun Roof (power tilt and slide)
All rear windows and sun roof have factory tint\
Roof Rack
Truck is in Lee's Summit, MO
Smoothest shifting automatic transmission out of any XJ I have ever driven (own a 99 XJ, drove 94-99 XJ's for field work, and even smoother than my 97 Lexus LX450)
Transfer cases shifts effortlessly into 4Hi, and 4Lo
Under carriage is absolutely rust free.
Trailmaster Lift was installed less than 2000 miles ago
Springs, axles steering components still look "out of the box" clean
Engine has no oil leaks (bottom of oil pan is bone dry)
Transmission has no seals leaking
The bad:
Dome light removed by PO
crack in both rear tail lights....light work, just need new plastic
33's rub the sway bar on full turn
A/C compressor looks new, but isn't kicking over...may be a fuse issue
Check Engine light is on - Battery Tempature Senor error (If I didn't see the computer spit that error out, I would have cried BS)
Rear bumper isn't perfect
3 small surface rust spots on roof in front of sun roof. Not touching windshield or sun roof, though. Grind out, prime and paint is all that is needed.
$5100 is the listing mainly because of the low miles and super smooth tranny. But I am flexible. Make an offer and we won't be dancing long.

Well, I have a facility that I do the environmental compliance work for in NW Alabama. I need to get down there for a visit. If any of your friends are interested I could drive it down as long as I get dropped off at an airport for my flight home.

Yeh, the pics look great. But it is a 10 year old vehicle, so there are minor issues that I noted above. Could use a good shampoo....if you are into that.

Yes. There is currently 122,6XX miles on the truck. I labled it as Low Miles because within 500 miles of Kansas City, Autotrader showed 80-some XJ's, but only 3 had lower miles on them. So compared to others being advertised on Autotrader, it has low miles.
It is all relative. LOL

Thanks mobilecherokee4. I was beginning to doubt my craigslist ads. I don't want to misrepresent it.
I am shopping for an old (93-00) pickup or a old (83-89) Toyota Landcruiser, and anything under 175k is "low mileage" to me anymore. My 97 Lexus I sold with 150k and my stock 99 XJ has 155k. <123k seems low. All perspective, I guess.
