1998 land rover discovery
My parents have a 98 Land Rover Discovery they are wanting to sell because they just bought another Jeep. It is dark blue and for the most part in good overall shape but does have a few issues. It has been sitting behind my garage for a while and someone tryed to steal it and broke the lock and tumbler. Someone also broke the small window on the drivers side rear door. I think it needs an oil pump but they have that and it goes with it. The only thing they ever did to it was change the starter I believe it was, the exhaust manifold cracked but was a recall so Land Rover made it right. It would have to be towed unless someone has other idea's. If I remember right it has around 130K or 140K miles on it. If there is any interest I can post pictures or get any info anyone needs, I will post some up in the next few days anyway.
Located in Indiana about 70 miles west of Indianapolis
$1250

Here are the pictures for those interested.
Discovery LE
Tan leather interior with fold down jump seats in very back, I have had 7 people in this
Just over 136000 miles
Front tires are better than average with full size spare on matching rim
This vehicle would part out at more than $1250 but I am not inclined to take the time to do it right now
One side is pretty dirty from setting behind my garage next to a car port but it would clean up very nice.
The average value of this vehicle in good condition is about $4000 according to KBB, retail is $5900
I also have the factory fender flares, roof rack, front and rear bumper's and trim off my 99 Cherokee 2 door in case anyone is looking for something like that as well.
The bottom picture is of another 1998, same color and model that I found online and is just an example of what this one could look like if someone wanted to put a little time into it........it almost makes me want to stick it in the garage for a spring project. I will not let it set out over the winter so if it isnt gone soon it will go to the garage and probably stay until I decide to work on it.
