1997 Cherokee XJ, Black, 4 Door, $1,500
1997 Cherokee Sport. No rust, 4 door, 4.0, 4WD NP 231, Black exterior, grey cloth. COLD A/C, heat, PW, PDL, Tilt, factory radio, never offroaded, but is pretty dinged up. Intact but dirty interior, no rips, stock height, bone stock. 178K, replaced engine, new torque converter, transmission rebuilt, new CPU, new headliner, replaced rear end, runs and drives. All fluids are clean and full. Bought it with the intention of turning it into an off-roader, but domestic peace around the house is worth more. Not a beauty, looks best 10 feet or more away. Needs a good scrubbing. Clean clear title. Transmission is great, engine is strong but has a miss, no smoke, no unusual noises, 4WD works flawlessly. Typical '97 model XJ that has fought some shopping carts. Great brakes, great glass, great start for an awesome rig and it is the right color!.
Located in Tennessee, 37421, price is $1,200 cash. Bring your own tires/wheels. WILL NOT PART OUT UNLESS THE MAJOR PARTS ARE SOLD FIRST (Drivetrain, Suspension, Interior). No shipping at all - Pickup only (no time to pull and package parts) Simple economics. Gotta recoup my investment first, then I can rid myself anything left.

Well, this is gonna make you feel even worse, LOL.
Price is $1,000 cash. It is sitting in my driveway and a constant source of aggravation to my fiance'. I installed 4 tires and wheels yesterday to keep it rolling and be able to drive (2 space savers, a 14 inch Torino wheel, and another type wheel, so not driveable but around the block, LOL). The parts alone are worth the price, especially since it has zero rust, no crash-type damage, and will run and drive with cold A/C.
If I don't sell it by Friday for this new amount, I'll take what I want to keep and just scrap the rest.

Nothin wrong with it besides the miss and the tires/rims you just put on it and the grocery cart winning the battle?

Engine is out of a low mileage '97 ZJ. Still has JY ID and description on the intake. Very clean inside and out. Miss could be a plug, wire, injector, or burnt valve. No idea and not spending any time on it looking. Runs and drives, got me home. Smooth at speed, misses accelerating and idling.
Tranny was rebuilt because of noise underneath, torque converter replaced 2 times because of same noise, found out it is the catalytic converter. You can bang your fist against it and replicate the noise. Probably 2 years old.
Rear end was replaced due to whining. Chrysler 8.25, 3.55 gears, open.
For a $1,000 it is a great start for a rig. If not sold by Friday evening, I have people interested in the rear end, transmission, hatch, hood, flares. Will scrap the rest to recoup my investment.

I think so. The parts will bring that plus scrap value. I will go that route if needed, but would prefer to just sell as whole.
