its not going anywhere boss... sittin in the yard... i need to get that tranny pulled this week too then huh? lol... also i noticed the power steering gear box leaking form the input seal for the steering... im going to pull the one off the 98 to go with you... its not leaking bad enough where its draining out or anything but ive got a extra one that im sure nobody will buy from the part out so may as well send it with you... could install when you do the lift or something... free of course... if you think of any other parts you may need for any other jeeps at home let me know... i got alot of this 98 still... once you get the tranny im gonna drop the motor and the rest is going to scrap... bodies shot out though... actually i may send the drivers door with you also if you plan to paint this thing... my XJ's drivers door is in good shape... both vehicles are black too but the XJ's newer so not as faded... lol... its electronic so would have to swap the mechanical stuff in it but itll save ya from buying a door... just alittle free labor...
Trey needs a rear hatch for his 89 xj.i have a xj at home my girlfriend picked up for me while i was over here. i dont know if it even runs or not though.at home i have 2 yj's , 3 xj's,and a comanche with no eng or tranny. the body is in good shape,my problem is this company wants me in North Carolina working on August 30th.im afraid it would take me longer than that to get the other mj running,so we'll save that one for Trey in a few years.and the one i have is 2x4 so it would be a helluva swap in 28 days. so finding this one 4x4 so close to home was really lucky.all i gotta do to it is throw a lift under it and my yj axles and im rolling shouldnt take more than 4 or 5 days,if i can get trey out of bed before noon
edit: hey what do the floor boards look like on this thing anyway?

Hatch is no good... LOL... used to have one... went to the crusher with the rest the Jeep... I buy and part out a lot I its got aftermarket stuff worth it... this Xj had a re 4.5 lift with upper arms... steel brake lines and everything... blew the transfer case... got it for $600... LOL... anyways the floorpans I'm 90% sure are fine... its got rubber instead of carpet and the only cut is about an inch up by the shifter... a bucket seat center console would cover it... Should have one anyways...

And my Mj I'm building for show was a 2x4... got it with a bad ba10 so got a ax15 for it... swapped the front end from that Xj... gonna have to have driveshafts built though... I'm bidding out a set of Challenger srt wheels right now... think I'm going to give the ole Mj a srt8 theme with its 97+ grill... and really make people wonder what the heck I is... LOL...
Eventually it'll get a 360 that will look built but I don't wanna kill the ax15... so maybe Max the tranny out on strength... but that'll be when the 4.0 starts to go and everything else is done... then again I've never ran my engine since I got I with no tranny... I'm betting on the fact that kid with it before metold the truth about it running LOL... just want the v8 sound with the srt badges... I've just decided this over the last couple hours... LOL...

Was at a mud bogg in nevanda on top of a mountain that they chopped the top off of and the vehicle to take home the trophy was a darn VW beetle... big giant trucks with 53's and NOS... and they didn't have nothing on a beetle... LOL... big isn't better... for sure... lol
I've been talking to the guys at Titan motors(they have a shop right in Ocala) about a stroker motor. have to see what transfer i have that'll match that output on the aw4 tranny though. the xj i bought for parts has a aw4 so it should have a transfer that'll fit.gonna have alot to do in a months time lol. so much for a vacation

I think as long as they were both i6 motors you should be good too... 4 Bangers had the same spline count as the ba10's... I've considered a stroked motor but everyone in the forums I've talked too said they have nothing but problems... I think 4.3xj or whatever went through like 3 before he stuck a 4.3 in his...
Really? what kinda problems they reporting? the 4.2 i have in my yj was just rebuilt last year and since ive been over here it only has like 2k miles on it. maybe i'll just use it.or keep the motor thats in it lol. since you say it runs good.just see what happens i guess.

All internal problems that I've read... I dunno... could be builder error but its got me worried about doing it... LOL... to spend that much for it to blow up 2k later... just can't afford that... LOL... just saying... maybe do alittle research on peoples luck so far... now that people have been building them for alittle bit..
Yea i've read good and bad reviews, some people think there the best thing ever invented some say theyd rather have a stock engine lol.
Titan engines is a pretty large company and they build alot of engines.
i think if anyone could do it ti would be them. and im not after a fully blown nitrous monstor, just the basics different crank some roller rockers.a long block is 2500 its 1k to have a 4.2 rebuilt stock for the extra 1.5k i'd like to see what there all about lol. if i have time and they have one ready i'll probably get one and try it anyway. just to see for myself you know?

you must be looking at Jaspers engines... autozone boss... i get all my long blocks from advanced auto or autozone... 3 year warranty (only one year less then jasper but if its gonna go itll be before 3 years) bought a 4.0 for my sisters wrangler and it was $1100 for the long block... swapped acouple things over and dropped it in... cant beat it...
