Also I see where they start but how far back would they extend?

Sadly we don't offer them 'modified' for the MJ, but they go back all the way to the leaf spring mount bracket. BleepinJeep on youtube did a nice little video installing a set, check it out at the link below to get a much better idea of them, and how the install will go.
