It's always a good time to upgrade your axle! So do it right with a beefy diff cover!

No exact measurements right now as the Jeep is in the body shop. Mine has the HD Currie steering linkages & one of Ruffstuff covers and it clears with plenty of room. My covers are 2-3 years old at least and do not know if current ones are any different.

Sorry I missed this, you should have about 1/4" - 1/2" steering clearance with our covers.

Dan,

I have your covers both front and rear on a 96 XJ. Recently was out wheeling in a mix of vehicles. One guy driving a new Xterra Pro-4X hit his rear diff coming off a rocky section. After that he took added interest in the diff covers on the XJ. Wife also has a Nissan sitting in the garage. Wanted to ask if you have made diff covers for the Xterra before or if you think there is a market for them? Down here is seems that many who had an XJ that was taken out of service for whatever reason either go for a Newer Jeep or Xterra.

Just thinking out loud. Perhaps I should not do that as often....
