whats the difference between the metallic and the regular ones? im redoing my whole exhaust system after xmas and i wanna get one of these for sure

Metallics flow better and withstand heat better, the downside is they are really an OBDI converter. I'm running one on my 95 but it could throw a CEL on later models. I have heard of guys running them on models up to 2002 but there is no guarantee they will work with any of those vehicles.

ok thanks, i dont have an o2 sensor anywhere near my cat so it wont throw any lights on mine, but ill definitely be buying all my new exhaust stuff from you after xmas, im gonna put it all together myself and weld it

just wanted to say i bought one and its great! it made the jeep sound so good and it doesnt make your eyes burn in the morning when its cold after my stock cat fell off haha, but yeah its a good part, and i didnt know you were in virginia, i was surprised that i got it like the next day haha

There can't be any precious metal in these that will clean the exhaust air. Not for this price. How don't they throw O2 codes?

Interested in getting a direct fit cat for my 99 cherokee 4.0 auto. also looking to replace the whole cat back system if you have any availble that i can get as a kit to direct fit to the cat

Got mine today. Love it. You can tell from the box it will breathe better than the OEM one.

Sure there can be. People are used to paying $100 for a cat but that is because of markup. The brick in these converters come from the same manufacturer as other "brand name" converters.

Yes it will, as long as you are running 2.5" exhaust.

This should do the trick as long as it's not a faulty o2 sensor throwing a false code.

Touchy subject, but I'm getting a code p0432, basically a cat on bank 2, 01 xj 4.0...do you sell one for that, and btw I'm in California, so it has to be legal for sale/ship into our lame state...
