I ordered my around a month ago. i went with the flowmaster. I dont know about performance because i haven't took it out yet, but the sound is great with stock cats. its hard to get a good video with sound but if i get one ill post a link.

 

What part number Flowmaster Super 40 would come with the kit for an XJ? I'm trying to price out just the muffler for now... Thanks!

Here ya go.. MagnaFlow 11226 This is the 2.25" version. The muffler is reversible so disregard the inlet / outlet notes.

Here is the MagnaFlow "knock off" version if you would like to save a few bucks. It's identical, even stainless steel. The only difference is it has a one year warranty vs the lifetime warranty of MagnaFlow. Xlerator XS1225

Any chance you guys have though of making a nice mandral bent downpipe?
From the exhaust manifold to the convertor has that impression from the factory and I feel like that restriction is killing power...

 

People have asked for this, unfortunately we cannot use a universal pipe that would fit all years like we do with the tailpipe. It would require 5-6 part numbers and the small amount of sales would not make it worthwhile for us. Sorry.
