I need a Cat back exhaust on my 2000... from the pictures i could not tell if its simply a bolt on. The guy at the local parts shop said I need a California 5/2000 one. I realize the one you are selling is universal but im confused by the need for a specific model.

I have no idea what a California 5/2000 one is.

The kit is universal but it's made for Cherokees. The universal part comes in to play with the hangers and bumping the exhaust up from 2.25" to 2.5". Once you get those taken care of it is essentially a bolt on kit.

 

Just want to say these prices are a steal.now I be ordering this but I need replace my whole exhaust,just wonder what converter I need?I looked up on the website which was very helpful by the way and I just wonder if I can use a cheaper converter then the one shown?also it says free shipping for magflow,except when I go to check out it adds shipping.also Cherokee forms is not working.

I finally got my FM super 44 and 2.5 tailpipe installed today from performance curve.

WOW! Not only does it sound amazing, but it fits like a glove. It tucks up really nice and out of the way. Also, I had a ago weld it in, and they were admiring the quality when they asked how much I paid for it. They couldn't believe the system was only $100. The shop said they couldn't even order the same parts for that price.

I don't know how you do it mudfrog, but your product is top notch, and your prices are incredible.

 

I ordered one for my XJ a year ago and was pleased with the service and quality! Can you do a 3" mandrel for a 2001 WJ with either a Flowmaster or Magnaflow and Magnaflow ceramic spun 3" cat? Thanks!!!

 

The free shipping on MagnaFlow does not apply to this kit. We offer free shipping on MagnaFlow products due to their MAP pricing. We are required to charge to much for their stuff. Since the kit uses a different manufacturer for the tailpipe I can charge whatever I want, hence the great price. This is why only MagnaFlow items by themselves get free shipping.

On a 1990 Cherokee you can use any converter you want as long as your not in CA.

We only offer a 2.5" kit which fits the 99-04's. None of my suppliers offer anything else.

 

Hey, I need to re-do the whole exhaust system on my '98 cherokee, i checked out the package with the muffler and hanger, but do you have any packages with everything? Thanks

 

We only have the package with the muffler, tailpipe and clamps. We do have various hangers listed in the related items section to chose from. We also have the reducer to go from 2.25" to 2.5", part number 8942. We do not offer the manifold or custom downpipe, we only stock the OE downpipe.

 

Just got off the phone from placing my order, couldn't have been easier, I guess you were all just calling at busy times... Mudfrog helped me out and got me exactly what I needed, and all for a good price. I ordered a thunderbolt cat, the magna flow exhaust kit, and a couple of O2 sensors, can't wait till they get here. I'll leave a review after they're in.
