The tail pipe is 2.5" mandrel bent. You don't need to weld on a factory style hanger ...check your local Autoparts store. They should have a pretty decent selection of bolt/clamp on hangers. If not, you can most up a factory style hanger and take it to a local shop to have them weld the hanger on for you... most will only charge like 5 bucks.

Aka is it all bolt or slip on to my factory cat or a high flow if I get one as well? This would be my first install of an exhaust kit so I would be using semi basic hand tools.

Ordering mine today super 44 and the tail pipe 50 bucks for shipping
Oh well excited is still an understatement. Is the shipping normally pretty much right on with the expected time? It's telling me 4 days but I know mudfrog is swamped over there.

Yea, California's laws stuck a fat one. Good thing I live on the east coast... my cat cost $49 after shipping and tax.

Hey MudFrog,
Got a quick question. Need a high-flow cat and planning on doing a 2.5" from the header's 4-bolt coupler on back. Is this the high-flow cat I'll need: New Cat?

When I spoke with MudFrog about what catalytic converters this is the one he recommended. http://performance-curve.com/25thund...ter415250.aspx
I am running this on my rig with full 2.5" exhaust... Works great but is not slip fit.

When you say slipfit.. was the converter OD? It should be ID.
Yea, unfortunately the price of shipping can get high thanks to the UPS / FedEx increases over the past few years. I've shipped one of our small Thunderbolt converters for as much at $18.. it's ridiculous..

Mudfrog, I'd be interested in ond of those adapters to go from 2.25"ID to 2.5"OD. My cousin has been looking for one for his Jetta for a while but can't find any. All the Autoparts stores sell everything but that size. He asked me and I told him I just got a custom downpipe made or 2.5"... not the answer he wanted to hear lol. Send me a pm with your PayPal and what you'd like me to put in the payment memo so you know what part I'm ordering.
I'm interested in purchasing a significant amount of parts from performance one but to be honest with how difficult it is to get a hold of anyone there, really concerns me. When ever I call either no one answers or the phone has a busy signal for hours on end. I've submitted an email almost a week ago and haven't recieved a response. Anyways I'm hoping the customer service is better here.
What I'm wondering concerns item numbers: SF69096 and SF67007 (exhaust 2 bolt flanges) are they sold signally or as a pair?

I've heard mixed things from muffler shops about legal and not legal cats. Looks like I will have to do the research on my own.
