Default Liquid Iron Industries - XJ Bolt-on Leaf Sliders

Don't forget our Bolt-on Leaf Spring Sliders for your XJ. These things are beefy and get the job done. Nothing but rave reviews about ride-improvement, stability-improvement and added flex. Whether you're a hardcore off-roader or use your XJ as a daily driver, these will serve you well.

https://liquidironindustries.com/XJ-...f-Sliders.html

These XJ bolt-on leaf sliders from Liquid Iron Industries bring the proven reliable performance of the original slider boxes to the DIY market. They are designed to be a direct bolt in replacement for original shackles in the rear of 84-01 Jeep Cherokees. A massive increase in lateral stability and ride quality are just a few of the many advantages one can expect after installing a set of leaf sliders.

Features:

100% Bolt-on installation using factory shackle and hitch mounting points
CNC cut from high quality USA made steel plate to ensure precise fit and finish
High quality American made UHMW plastic bushings for long service life
4130 alloy crush sleeves for extended bushing life
Manufactured in the USA to LII's demanding specifications

Ordinary shackle setups act as a pivot on a bushing. When an extended shackle is installed for more lift, this pivot action is multiplied. In off camber or cornering situations, this pivot action makes the rear end feel loose and unpredictable. Shackle sliders eliminate the pivot action all together which results in a much tighter, more predictable suspension. They also eliminate bad shackle angles known to cause horrible ride characteristics in XJ rear suspensions. The angle of the slide track produces a smooth, tight, and flexible ride much like that of a 4-link suspension at a fraction of the cost.

Price includes one pair of slider boxes with appropriate installation hardware. Ships bare.

If anyone has a set of these on their XJ, I'd love to get some new pictures for the site. Nice clean install pictures, or even some down and dirty shots of them. Show me what you got! I'll even give you a photo credit for it.

These continue to be a hot seller. Take a look at your shackles and poke around for reviews on these. Everyone that's taken the leap to our sliders is very happy they did!

Unfortunately, we don't have a bolt-on set for Comanches. The Universal Weld-on Slider Boxes will be best for your truck.

Gotta a question, do these significantly improve rear ride quality? Going over bridge joints at highway speeds & your rear hops around is scary. but if these are know to just help a little bit will great lol. Btw I'm running stock lift with 75 aspect ratio tyres instead of 70

These do help with stability a lot. Your hopping rear end sounds more like a shock issue, though.

I wouldn't think so cause the shocks are only a year and a half old. But I'll take a look
