We won't be offering a DIY rear bumper with a tire carrier. Just the bumper itself.

Has anybody welded one with a 110v welder? I've got a Lincoln Weld-Pak 100HD.. i've used it on several small projects at home .. say's it's good for up to 1/4" steel with "multi-pass" welding.

I weld 1/4" with my 110V Lincoln flux core with no problems. It's taken some practice to get good penetration and sometimes a few passes, but it'll work.

Don't mean to high-jack the thread but I'm wondering if I should get the bottle option kit for the welder to make prettier welds??

Do both bumpers only use 6 tie in bolts? Doesn't seem very strong... Not trying to be mean or dog on what you guys are doing.

Winch bumpers come with our Uniframe Reinforcement kit. It's optional on the non-winch front.
