You have a HP D30 front, it will have to have the same ratio for your 4wd to work so unless someone changed the axle before you, it will be 3.55. You will need a new carrier for 3.73+ gears for your D30 because of the carrier break.

It currently has an 8.25 corporate rear axle with 3.55 ratio and the front axle is a "230mm front axle" according to the build sheet for the Jeep. Am I correct in assuming that is a Dana 30 and the gear ratio is the same as the rear (build sheet doesn't tell me the gear ratio of the front axle)?
You will need a front carrier for the 4 series gears.
The rear does not require one.
Yes you have a high pinion Dana 30.
Yes front and rear gears must match ratio.

Ring and pinion, and master install kits. Master kits are everything inside the differential you will need to do a regear as well as new diff bearings.

Sorry for the noob questions; but does that include the "Drive Shaft Seals"? For the 8.25 axle they are part number 4137-426 (not sure what the part number is for the Dana 30). Here's a link to the part on Quadratec: http://www.quadratec.com/products/52420_23.htm

Is the price still $419? And, once I place the order - how long will it take to arrive?
