That's unfortunate you're not a fan of Heims. We may offer a kit with Chevy 1 ton TREs one day, but not in the foreseeable future.

 

Is there a minimum lift height requirement for this set-up?

I used Iron Rock Offroad's steering on my last XJ with a 3" lift and the tie rod did not have enough adjustment to have a proper alignment. They use a similar set-up with heims.

 

I don't see why our kit wouldn't work with 3"

 

Matter of fact we installed a kit on an XJ with 3.5 a month or so ago

 

Iron Rock also advertised their product at 3.5".


I guess if no one has a yes or no answer I'll have to roll the dice and hope for the best.

 

What about OTK? I know that'll raise the drag link and possibly hit the wheel.

 

I'm going to say 3.75 backspacing will be just fine for OTK and potentially even 4" as Xj88 is running, but the 4" backspacing may require some grinding.
