Yeah I was a little disappointed but no biggie. Rattle can is easier to touch up and I know I'm going to put plenty of scratches in these

Also, PSA: This kit is going to stretch your wheelbase if you're running a shorter lift, 4.5" or so, like I am. I got about 1.5-2" stretch with the arms as short as they can go. It was too much for my liking so now I'm waiting on shorter arms from Cavfab. They were awesome about it and said they'd ship me shorter stuff right away. I just hope this isn't a surprise to anyone else because I don't think I've seen anywhere that says it's going to stretch the wheelbase

Good to know, Im running 5.5 and planned on setting mine up to stretch the front an inch or two. What pinion angle did you set your front axle at?

Post up some pics when you have a chance.

Interesting, I believe the kit was stated to come painted originally. The wheelbase stretch is a nice option to have, surprised the stock arms for the kit pushed out your wheelbase that much.

You are a funny guy:nerd:

Definitely thought it would come painted..

TFitzPat87 03-27-2017 04:10 PM

I do feel you guys on the paint thing, but it coming bare metal isn't that bad. I feel like it's guaranteed to get scratched during the mock up. Just paint it your favorite flavor after you have everything ready for final install.

SatiricalHen 03-27-2017 04:20 PM

Kinda bummed about bare metal since last I heard they would at least come painted, would be awesome if they were powder coated. As long as the stretch isn't too much for my current front driveshaft I don't really care, but I guess we will see...

SatiricalHen 03-28-2017 09:22 PM

So who all has gotten theirs or at least gotten a shipping confirmation?

not me

charbur 03-29-2017 12:46 PM

Still awaiting shipping confirmation. Also, sent a request to see if it would be possible to add on powder coating. Looks like their website will let you add this for $40.

winksjeep 03-29-2017 03:17 PM

Nothing for me either and no one has posted any pics of installing theirs yet.
Maybe a pet unicorn will show up sooner.
