I call it "my new boat". It's actually about to have it's 30th birthday (It's a 1980), but it's newer than the yellow and orange one (it's a 1976). After 8 years of pounding on the motor and running countless bottles of nitrous through it, it finally gave up on me. It's at my buddy's boat shop getting freshened up in preparation for next summer. Crank polished up o.k., connecting rods are alright, block got bored to .040" over for 468 cu in. New forged pistons and total seal rings (bumped compression up to 10.5:1), new bearings for mains, rods, and cam. New cam kit (going a little bigger this time of course). Ebrock aluminum cylinder heads have been re-worked.
