I have 9 vehicles including an $90K RV and I don't have any payments...on anything...
I also have a Cherokee xj with $25k in it and a yj with $35k in it..
Can't use your theory of look at my old xj it's better than your new trail hawk mentality...I mean really...you have to be over 16 because you have your license.
There must be something about the KL that attracts you since you posted on this thread...better yet I guess you can afford an xj but not a KL.
KL guys and gals....great vehicles keep poring up some action shots.

Secondly, it was me and another Moderator who started this whole KL section.
I posted that originally because I got tired of hearing the banter.
BTW, I was service Manager at a Jeep dealer from 1980 through 1992, so I still naturally I have an interest in the product line.

I can afford a TrailHawk but prefer not to own one. Sure you can... You can park it next to my wife's rally fight if you in Vegas...that was 100k and they don't take credit..

If you think cruiser does more harm than good you really need to look outside this small subsection of the forum. There are a great number of member that owe our fixes to cruiser and the rest of the advice that has grown from his tips.

Who changed my quote???????? See Post 91 versus Post 92.
If some people can't handle facts and a reaction to "guesses" about my background, they need to go somewhere else.

As for badmouthing the staff or admins, that's a big red flag.

True. This whole section was started because this IS CHEROKEE forum. We recognize ALL models of the Cherokee, not just one model. It was stated in the beginning that technology changes, there's nothing anyone of us can do about that. Not to mention not everyone who buys a Cherokee, regardless of year or model, takes it off-road. Some but it just because they love the brand or model.

Dang, I can't believe folks would come to the KL section to flame the KL... If you're not a fan, don't look, it's that simple.
I actually, until recently, really didn't like the KL and felt Jeep made a mistake.... and then I went to the San Diego International Auto Show. They had a little indoor off road course set up in the Jeep section, and were running a JKUR, KL TH, and BU TH? (Renegade, which I also previously scoffed at).
The most fun looking part was the 30 degree tilt ramp, showing people how far the Jeep could be tilted without rolling. The JKUR hit the ramp and flexed enough to stay on all 4 tires the whole time. The KL and BU popped up on 2 tires as they got on to and off of the ramp, and just kept on chugging. The drivers let them teeter back and forth, braking to rock it harder and it actually just looked like a lot of fun! It was in that moment that I realized these vehicles are capable, and probably a hoot to drive off road! Definitely made me respect them more.
Anyway, yeah they are different, but wouldn't it be boring if auto makers only every made one type of vehicle?

And as for the guy who compared the KL to an Aztec? Come on dude! The KL has one of the sweetest shapes I have seen in a while. I constantly am getting positive comments on the street from looks alone. Something that drew me right to it.
