Whats up guys?
Hey guys,
My name is Adam and im from West Chicago IL.
I am by day a Mustang guy. I have a 2014 GT that i bought wrecked and rebuilt. By night i am a Jeep guy! My first jeep was a 1996 Cherokee base with the high output 4.0. I bought it as a winter beater for $900 and beat the hell out of that thing and it just took it. My first XJ was super rusty and didnt have any floor boards and the exhaust manifold cracked on it and it really just wasnt worth the time for me to fix. So i sold the 1996 and went about my business. So i drove the mustang all summer and planned on dailying it in the winter but then a friend of mine that had a 1990 XJ Pioneer that he got as a wedding present decided he didnt want it sitting at his town home and gave me a smokin deal on it.
My current jeep is a 1990 Cherokee Pioneer. I am the second legal owner and it has 99k miles on it. Primarily rust free as in it was under coated but some of the paint flaked off so there is some body rust. I have just been going through the thing and repairing things that have gone bad or broken on it at this point. Ive replaced the headliner, got the interior lights working, and replaced the entire vacuum system so the engine would run good. Mods for right now i have a 52 and a 25 inch light bars on the front then i have two 4 inch light bars on the back that ive wired into the reverse lights. I took it to the local offloading place near me and needless to say I WANT MORE. In the future id like to lift it a tiny bit and fit 30 inch tires on it. I posted on here about seeing if you can use stock grand Cherokee springs on an XJ to give it a little lift im still wondering if this is true?
I am also a professional driving instructor so if you are in the Midwest area and like to road race hit me up! I race with the National Auto Sport Association and i instruct with Xtreme Xperience (super car driving experience)
Glad to be on here!
Heres some pics of my rides
