New to the Jeep world.
Hello everyone. I'm Kevin, I'm from Wyoming, and I'm new to the whole Jeep thing but I must say that they sure are fun. I've been lurking around here and other forums doing lots of reading and researching but decided to join so I could pick y'alls minds every once in a while.
This last December I bought an 89 Cherokee for a daily driver for my mother, but decided to keep it for myself because I knew I could build it far easier than I could my Explorer for getting out on the trails. It has only 154,xxx miles on it and is in overall pretty good shape. I picked it up for $800 and the only thing it needed right off the bat was a wheel bearing. I changed that out (not easily due to a stripped brake caliper bolt head) and have been driving it since. Anyway, that's enough for now, I'll get a build thread going to document my progress.
